Christine Bissette Obituary
Ms. Christine White Bissette, age 54, of Raleigh, passed away at her home on May 1, 2018. She was born in Surry County, North Carolina to Bruce White and to the late Nancy Beamer White. She was a Technical Account Manager for Hewlett-Packard, she was a double major in Textile science and Computer Science from NC State University, and was a member of Little Richmond Baptist Church. She was amazing musician, playing the clarinet, banjo, piano, and percussion.
Surviving are her father and step mother, Bruce and Betty White of Dobson; step-sister and brother-in-law Renee and David Hammond, and family; step-brother and sister-in-law Billy and Rose Snow and family; three step-nieces Stephanie Snow, Bridgette Snow, Emma Hammond; three step-nephews, Aaron Hooker, Will Hooker, Billy Snow Jr; four special friends, Jeff Bailey, Dawn Marion, Kim Young, Jim Murphy. A Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday May 8 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Ball officiating. The family will receive friends at Fairview Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the service.

Kay was a retired administrative assistant and a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by a brother, John Danny Bruner. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Amazing Grace Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Jonathan Barker with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Kay will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Howell Funeral Service of Mount Airy is serving the family.
